TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!
I don't know if it's good or bad.
Maybe I'll add a few more exclamation points.

Picasa worked fine for me on Saturday, I was uploading my photos and labelling them. And Google + actually worked super smoothly for me, which was a first. For some reason, Google Docs has decided it didn't like me since the first day I made an account. It just really doesn't like me, it used to be slow, but on MY ACCOUNT ONLY. x-( (Luckily now it's much better, I seriously don't know what I would do without it for group projects.) BUT, I didn't finish (labelling the photos) and I wanted to finish at home. So I tried yesterday to upload it, but it didn't work, because that place has dumb laggy internet, then I thought, well, I'll upload it today at home, and now I'm doing it, and I couldn't figure out how to upload the whole album. So then I just selected everything in the album and hopefully it loads as one. And now it's REEEEEAAALLLY slow because I'm now sharing the internet with my dad and he multitasks like crazy. Seriously. You should watch him at it, he has like 15 windows open at once and he clicks back and forth and back and forth and back and-- okay, got off track there.
Anyway, I'm waiting now, and also doing other things like blogging in the interval. :P Lookie at my amazing use of time.

We had fitness testing on Friday during PE. I totally forgot about it until now, because this morning all my other muscles stopped hurting and my abs were still hurting, which reminded me of the crunches I did during fitness testing. *sigh*
I improved in all cases except for 2. :) Yay me! Compared to end of last year, I got 6 more cm on the Sit and Reach, which tests flexibility. I actually practiced Pike (which is similar to sit and reach) position over the summer, because I wanted to be more flexible, and that was one of my goals during this summer and will be one of my goals throughout this year.
I also did 8 more pushups than end of last year. I'm not sure why, but, last time I got 31 and this time I got 39. Or 40, I can't really remember. I got worse in crunches though, 51 from end of last term to 35 this time. I was still sore from volleyball yesterday, so after I just got really tired at around 25-30. I also stopped at about 20 first, because my friend said to pull my feet up closer, so I had to start over, and I got really tired immediately (abs and neck). And then I went back to it after we did all our other tests, and got a bit higher. :)
Vertical Jump used to be one of my stronger suits, but I got 5 cm worse than last time, and I don't know why. Maybe because my legs felt like concrete when I jumped.
I kind of dread Shuttle Run. Firstly, I'm not very good at it, and secondly, it reminds me of when I did Taekwondo and we had to do that, and we had to do it like literally 10 lengths to and from, as part of running and warmups and whatnot. But I improved just a little, by like half a second, but hey! Any improvement is amazing for me. Also, I'm really slow, and all my other friends are like, "I got 11! That's like, so bad! I got like 9.5 last time. *sad face*" And meanwhile, I'm celebrating because I got half a second faster, from 13 to 12.5. Which is like, really bad, but, I've kind of accepted it and I'm trying to get faster.
I'm actually really proud of myself after fitness testing, because I shifted my paradigm over the summer from being, "I'm really bad at PE," to, "You know, I'm going to work harder at PE so I can improve." Because I realized that PE is really important, and changing my perspective might help me to be more active and more successful when I try hard. So I feel like fitness testing was the first step towards more enjoyable PE classes. :D

We have this science assignment for Monday, about discrepant events. (I don't know how to spell that. Discrepant? discrepid?) I'm really confused right now, because I don't know what experiment we're doing. We were thinking of using Coke and Mentoses, but then we said, we should grind up the mentos (mentoses?) and try it. And convince people that its sugar, then watch their faces as it explodes. Then we decided we could use salt instead, but then we realized without lying about the fact that its salt, not sugar, people would assume its salt. Thus making it invalid. Then we said, "Okay, let's use fake Mentos!" And then realized that it's really, really hard to fake Mentos. Like chewing gum, just doesn't really work. And so now, I don't know what to do.
Maybe vinegar and baking soda could work, but with salt instead of baking soda. Yeah, that sounds good. :)

I tried out for bantam girls volleyball yesterday after school, 3:15 to about 5ish. It was not fun. (Well, the tryouts were, but the aftermath wasn't.) t woke up this morning with sore shoulders, sore legs, and sore pretty much everything else. Getting up from a chair hurts. Sitting down on a bench hurts. Moving my legs hurt. (my legs hurts? my leg hurts?)
Also, I swear we did at least a hundred pushups yesterday because every time someone missed a pass or something and no one said anything, Nathan (Ms. Calder's "right-hand guy") was like "10 pushups!" and he said that at least 10 times. So this morning I had sore abs, too. :(
I guess this proves 2 things-- firstly, that I need more exercise, and secondly, that I need more muscle. Or at least stronger muscles. I seriously didn't want to move at all today, because doing so would involve using muscles that were SORE.
Yeah, I'm going to bed now, because that doesn't take any effort on my part, and that will be awesome. :D

Correct, the word 'what' has 4 letters in it, 'yet' has three, 'sometimes' has 9, 'then' has 4, 'rarely' has 6, and 'never' has 5.
I was like WHOOOAAA when I saw the answer because I was wracking my brains for a word that maybe in different verb conjugations would do that. And then I was like OOOHHH I should know better, because there's no question mark, therefore the sentence is this one long statement.

I have seriously been waiting ALL SUMMER to post this, I found this the other day over the summer and I was all excited :)
Okay, so it's not that good, but it totally had me.
What is a word made up of 4 letters, yet is also made up of 3. Sometimes is written with 9 letters, and then with 4. Rarely consists of 6, and never is written with 5.
